1. File Notice of Departure manifest on eAPIS web site. https://eapis.cbp.dhs.gov Manifest must be submitted at least 1 hour before your departure time but can be filed a day or two ahead of time. You can also submit your Notice of Arrival manifest for return to the USA at this time even though your return may be days or a week or two in the future.

2. After submitting departure manifest check your e-mail for response from US Custom with approval to depart.
Call CANPASS (Canada Customs) 1-888-226-7277 at least 2 hours prior to arrival at your Canadian Port of Entry.
They will want your aircraft registration number, time & place of your arrival in Canada, name & date of birth for you & your passengers & will ask the usual questions about your visit to Canada.

4. If Canadian Customs officers are not waiting for you when you land call CANPASS again.
1-888-226-7277. They will give you a report number to show that you have cleared customs.
